Der Blick von der Molo San Marco auf die Silhouette von San Giorgio ist eines der klassischen Motive Venedigs. Wenn die parkenden Gondeln gut in Szene gesetzt sind und das Licht, wie in diesem Bild, passt, ist das Bild schon fast perfekt. Der Gondoliere ist dann, wie hier, das i-Tüpfelchen. Bei anderen Lichtstimmungen und leicht veränderten Blickwinkeln können hier von der Molo di San Marco jedoch auch ganz andere Bilder entstehen.

The view of the silhouette of San Giorgio from the Molo San Marco is one of Venice’s classic motifs. If the parked gondolas are staged well and the light is right, as in this picture, the image is almost perfect. The gondolier is then, as here, the icing on the cake. However, other lighting moods and slightly different angles can also produce completely different pictures of the Molo di San Marco.
