Dieses Foto einer alten, scheinbar verlassenen Farm nahe Port Isaac ist ein reiner Glücksfall. Eigentlich wollten wir auf unserer Radtour nur kurz vor einer Mauer rasten und etwas trinken. Doch ein in diesem Moment nicht identifizierbares Schnattern weckte meine Neugier. Über die Mauer lugend entdeckte ich diesen malerischen Anblick. Schnell zurück zum Rad, Kamera gezückt und aufrecht auf den Fahrradsattel gestellt: Mit viel Glück konnte ich diesen Moment festhalten. Die Gänse im Hof waren das i-Tüpfelchen – leider nur von kurz sichtbar und schnell verschwunden. Ohne sie wirken die anderen Bilder einfach nicht so lebendig. Ich hatte eben Glück!

This photo of an old, seemingly abandoned farm near Port Isaac is a pure stroke of luck. On our cycle tour, we actually just wanted to take a short break in front of a wall and have a drink. But an unidentifiable chattering at that moment aroused my curiosity. Leaning over the wall, I discovered this picturesque sight. I quickly returned to my bike, pulled out my camera and stood upright on the saddle: With a lot of luck, I was able to capture this moment. The geese in the courtyard were the icing on the cake – unfortunately they were only visible for a short time and quickly disappeared. Without them, the other pictures just don’t look as lively. I was just lucky!
