Dies war einer der H\u00f6hepunkte der Reise durch Rajasthan. Leider wurde der Trip bei mir durch eine heftige Am\u00f6benruhr \u00fcberschattet, die ich mir in Jodhpur zugezogen hatte. Trotz der Erkrankung waren die Abende und N\u00e4chte in den W\u00fcstencamps unvergesslich. Unvergesslich blieben auch die Besuche verschiedener Ruinenst\u00e4dte wie Bara Bagh, der Besuch der Familie unserer F\u00fchrer in Lodhra und nat\u00fcrlich die phantastische Sandd\u00fcnenlandschaft bei Sam. W\u00e4hrend unseres zweist\u00fcndigen Aufenthalts in Lodhra, dem Heimatdorf unserer F\u00fchrer, hatte ich das Gl\u00fcck, diese Spinnerin mit ihrer Tochter fotografieren zu d\u00fcrfen und damit diese besondere Stimmung einzufangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-garamond-font-family has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-style:italic;font-weight:700\">The spinner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-garamond-font-family has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><br>Camel tour in the Thar Desert, Rajasthan, India, 1989<br><br>From Jaisalmer, the westernmost city in Rajasthan, we set off on a four-day camel trip through the Thar Desert to the sand dunes of Sam. This was one of the highlights of our trip through Rajasthan. Unfortunately, my trip was overshadowed by a severe case of amoebic dysentery, which I had contracted in Jodhpur. Despite the illness, the evenings and nights in the desert camps were unforgettable. The visits to various ruined towns such as Bara Bagh, the visit to our guide&#8217;s family in Lodhra and of course the fantastic sand dune landscape near Sam were also unforgettable.
