Geweiht dem Gott Adinatha, \u00fcbertrifft er mit seiner prachtvollen Marmorgestaltung und den filigranen Steinmetzarbeiten jeden anderen Tempel seiner Art. Der Jainismus, der wie der Buddhismus seine Wurzeln im Brahmanismus hat, ist heute eine eigenst\u00e4ndige Religionsgemeinschaft in Indien.<br>Wir haben in Ranakpur viel Zeit verbracht und hatten auf dem Tempeldach zwischen den unz\u00e4hligen kleinen Kuppeln eine faszinierende Begegnung mit den Tempelaffen. Dieses Foto ist ein ganz besonderer Schnappschuss: Nachdem ich die Affen schon eine Weile beobachtet hatte, gelang mir dieser eine, perfekte Moment. Dedicated to the god Adinatha, its magnificent marble design and intricate stone carvings surpass any other temple of its kind. Jainism, which like Buddhism has its roots in Brahmanism, is today an independent religious community in India.<br>We spent a lot of time in Ranakpur and had a fascinating encounter with the temple monkeys on the temple roof amongst the countless small domes. This photo is a very special snapshot: after watching the monkeys for a while, I managed to capture this one perfect moment.
